Howick in the Park – 28^th February 2016

Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga

This is an event run by Lions, with contributions from others.  There are several Scottish themed displays in an arena on grass – pipe bands, highland dancers, re-enactments etc.

The dancing is organised by the Howick Club and Auckland Region.  Typically dancers gather prior to the performance and walk through the dances and then perform. In total dancers are needed for 2 – 3 hours.  The dancing performance is 11.45 and so dancers are likely to meet approx. 10.30am.

This is a relatively informal display, with the opportunity for a picnic to start off the dancing year.   However dress is white clothes for ladies and kilts for men.
